Regional Manager - Central UK
Looking after 6 homes in Oxford,Worcestershire and Surrey
Up to £70,000 with excellent benefits and bonus

About the role
You will be responsible for working as a key member of the Regional Management Team, providing operational support and expertise to care homes throughout the region
Working in partnership with your team , you will give your team of care home managers all the support they need to deliver excellent customer service, high quality standards and strong leadership for our people
You will coach, mentor and support Home Managers in selected homes as identified and agreed by Operational Management
Monitoring all aspects of service in the homes, you will be responsible for the analysis and use of quality metrics, conducting audits, and liaising with the Operational Quality team
You will work in partnership with the quality team and Home Manager to develop focused service improvement plans in the homes, identifying the actions, ownership and timescales needed to make things happen
It's likely that a substantial amount of travel will be required, including occasional overnight stays and some evening commitments.
The ideal candidate will have
* At least two years continuous experience as a Regional Manager of Care Homes with a proven track record
* Hold an active PIN as a Registered Nurse
* Knowledge of Care Quality Commission (CQC) Guidelines.
* Gold Standard Framework for end of life Care
* Knowledge of Dementia Strategy and Dementia mapping is desired but not essential
* Clear DBS Check
* Able to drive
* Able to stay away from own home as required
* Able to undertake out of office hours visits, including nights and weekends
The post holder will hold the relevant qualifications; have experience of working within Dual Registered Care Homes and proven record in a similar position. Will also have knowledge and empathy of caring for the older person and can demonstrate strong professional leadership, a flexible attitude to work pattern and excellent communication skills. The role involves working at weekends to monitor service quality on a 7-day-a-week basis. And also extensive travel throughout a wide geographical area as required with flexible working hours.
Care home management background including experience of working across more than one elderly care setting including residential, nursing and dementia
You will have a level one Registered Nurse qualification together with previous experience of seeing organisations through periods of change management
You will be able to adapt your management style to meet the neeWho we're looking fords of the different care home environments and be flexible in your approach
You will have a proven ability to persuade and influence at all levels
Experienced in change management, you will also have investigation and root cause analysis skills
