E-commerce Development Analyst

Advantage Resourcing is seeking permanent candidates for an excellent opportunity with a leading geographical services company.

This role it will bridge between commercial needs and the delivery of technical solutions to those needs and be part technical part commercial and part of the development team, with responsibility for the smooth running, reliability, security & performance of the online store

You will be responsible for receiving & analysing development change requests as well as bugs. You will play a key role in the development of new website features, taking them from initiation, creating brief through to implementation. Ensuring platform changes are fully understood, reviewed and delivered to purpose, on time, within agreed budgets.

What we're looking for

  • Experience in Ecommerce essential
  • Experience as a Product Manager (Technical Business Analyst or similar)
  • Experience working with Developers, Designers and Testers.
  • Understanding of web development, with awareness of front and Back End web development
  • Background in requirements gathering and analysis
  • Solid technical background with an ability to address accessibility and compliance issues
  • A customer-first mentality, looking to support commercial objectives
  • Good understanding of Google Analytics
  • Good understanding of SEO
  • Good understanding of UX
  • Organised, thorough with good prioritisation skills
  • Someone who wants to take ownership of their role and drive results
  • A natural problem solver and enjoy turning problems into elegant solutions
  • Able to commute to Southampton a minimum of 2 days a week
