Job Description

Our client is looking for a Research Assistant to support the ongoing development of their Market Intelligence through providing proactive sourcing and filtering of open source intelligence information.

The main duties for the Research Assistant will be to support the Market Intelligence Cell:

  • Providing proactive sourcing and filtering of open source intelligence information
  • Input to analysis for specific capability projects
  • Development of market intelligence reports
  • Conducting market research and analytics of current trends
  • Curation, currency and consistency of all market intelligence information
  • Ensure the Market Intelligence Cell remains current and relevant
  • Provide support to the rollout and ongoing admin for the Shared Information Space
  • Data compilation and analytics in support of market intelligence and weekly news reports
  • Supporting event management in preparation of VIP visits, briefings, presentations, reports and display material

Essential skills and qualifications required for the Research Assistant position:

  • Strong research, data collection, and analysis abilities
  • Skilled in MSOffice suite; especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Well organised, self-starter with good attention to detail
  • Able to self-manage and work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment
