Digital Skills Tutor

Location: Covent Garden, London.

Salary: £35.78 p/h

Hours: Variety of hours - see below for specific dates of available courses.

We are renowned for providing high quality courses for a range of adults and have enjoyed a period of significant growth within this area which we are looking to continue by recruiting for a number of exciting new Digital Skills courses.

What's the Role: We are looking for tutors to join our thriving Digital Skills programme. You can apply for any or all of the posts below. Successful applicants will also join our Talent Pool of Digital Skills tutors to be offered other work as appropriate.

Selection Criteria:

  • Level 2 qualifications in both Literacy and Numeracy (or equivalent).
  • A qualification or extensive background in computing or digital skills
  • Have experience of teaching Microsoft Office to adults from beginner to advanced - especially for work purposes. Experience of teaching other digital skills would also be of benefit.
  • Experience in creating a vibrant and dynamic learning environment to enable students to achieve both inside and outside the classroom
  • Experience of promoting learning through task-based projects which promote collaborative learning
  • Able to recognise and record progress and achievement in a systematic and creative manner.
  • Experience of responding to a diverse range of learning needs within a single class
