Our manufacturing and distribution client are expanding their team and have an exciting and varied new role, based in modern offices in Aldermaston

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to oversee a team of 6 across Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain.

This is a really nice varied role in a friendly business. Salary is £25k- £30k DOE

Your overall remit as follows:

Take responsibility for the management of stock, including supplier relationships, logistics and warehousing of inventory.
Lead and develop a team which is responsible for ensuring that stock is maintained at appropriate levels to fulfil demand.

Key Procurement duties
Develop and implement procurement strategy
Ensure procurement activities are efficient in terms of suitability, risk, cost
Consistently work to mitigate risks to the business

Key Supply Chain duties:
Forecast demand
Liaise with suppliers to ensure correct quantities at correct times
Use supply chain software to develop workflow process
Overseeing warehouse operations, analysing critical paths and maintaining accurate stock inventory

Ideal Candidate
Has previous experience enhancing processes across procurement & supply chain
Experience managing and developing a small team
Experience with supplier management
Good data analysis
Demonstrable experience in procurement and supply chain
