A position has become available for a casual driver / bearer within our Company. The role is dependent on work volume of the company and may vary from week to week. The successful candidate will be required to participate in an out of hours on-call rota as we provide 24 hour cover both for the company and H M Coroner. Job Requirements: • Drive Limousines on Funerals. • Carrying Coffins in/out of church. • Check Vehicles for cleanliness. Clean in-between funerals before setting off on next funeral. • Will be required to participate in out of hours on-call rota. • Loading flowers into hearse. • Delivering flowers to Hospice/Nursing Home if required. • Occasionally could be required for long distance driving to collect from Hospitals from out of town. We are currently looking for a self-motivated and experienced groundworker to join our expanding team.   You should be proactive, positive, hardworking, reliable and a team player, who can demonstrate attention to detail, an ability to communicate effectively with other staff and a willingness to learn. You must have the right to work in the UK. Be able to work to high standards. Work under your own initiative and follow direction. Be flexible to work alongside other trades. Hold a full clean driving licence. Preferred skill sets but not limited to - ground works, drainage, concrete works, paving, kerbing, general building and plant operation, understanding levels and site preparation, also be able to carry out simple enabling works like laying and compacting hardcore to specific areas.
