2nd Line Support Technician/Engineer Technical Support Specialist required to support clients in their day-to-day computer and IT operations. Initially spending 3 days a week working on site at a major client (60+ PCs + 9 Servers), attending other clients and working in the company's office. Primarily responsible for Customer IT Level1/Level2 support. The position requires someone with at least 5 years' experience in IT, with good knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments, including Servers. Ideally with experience of both Windows 7/8/10/11 and Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 operating systems. To work in these environments requires some understanding of server components, such as Active Directory, DHCP, DFS and DNS. An understanding of network basics, with the ability to troubleshoot with simple network tools such as ping and nslookup is important.
